Cardona
Rising like a mosaic of sun-warmed stone and stained glass along the southern coast of the continent’s center, Cardona is a city of passion, artistry, and deep tradition, known far and wide for its vivid culture, breathtaking architecture, and the serene presence of the Colossus of Cardona—a towering stone sentinel that stands watch over the harbor like a guardian carved from the sea itself.
From its red-tiled rooftops to its cascading balconies draped in bougainvillea, Cardona draws architectural inspiration from Spanish and Southern Italian coastal cities. Narrow cobbled streets wind through bustling artisan quarters and open into broad plazas where musicians, dancers, and poets gather under fluttering banners. Whitewashed buildings shimmer under the sun, and golden domes glint over ancient cathedrals dedicated to the city’s twin patrons: Cygna, Goddess of the Sea, and Dregorius, God of the Soul and the Arts
The party arrived in the City of Cardona during La Carnivale amidst the fireworks of the festival’s opening night. Lord Escobar, a noble Cardona/member of the Council, provided the party with a brief tour of the city before leading them to the Palacio de Solymar.
