Elthing was founded underwater and was protected by a magic bubble that provided air for the residents to breathe, and was located at the favoured resting place of a great Storm Serpent named Glengosh.
A student studying dark magic at Nafine cast a spell which brought about the "Long Heat," a heat wave lasted many many years.
