Alfheim
Alfheim also called the "Elven Heartland" is a planet in the Arconis System third closest to the arconis behind Avalon & in front of Midgard orbited by its moon Vrotesh. This planet is home to the elves of the Arconis System, those who were once locked in the Raven War on Midgard but then were given a new world free from the war. Much like Avalon Alfheim is full of magic and the elves there use it to their advantage when making their civilization.
Geography
Alfheim is a large planet 30,000 miles in radius, separated into five large continents Aulifis, Dreruan, Pathona, Teavria, & Eupazoa. Pathona is the largest continent on Alfheim at the center of it, dominated by the High Elves who command the elven empire. Aulifis to the north of Alfheim was once a fertile forest that was once dominated by the cinder elves but was burnt to the ground becoming an ashland. Dreruan to the south pole of Alfheim is a frigid tundra home to the Snow Elves.
Teavria to the east of Alfheim is a forest continent where the forest elves live together. Eupazoa to the west of Alfheim is a mountainous forest continent. The continents are surrounded by the Elven Seas populated by the Ocean Elves who oversee the waves. The underground of Alfheim Aizohoth is populated by the Dark Elves who keep this land under control.
Ecosystem
Alfheim has many colorful environments Primeval forests, moss covered mountains & hills, bright and sunny valleys and gorgeous lakes, rivers, & oceans.
Ecosystem Cycles
During the spring the flora of Alfheim grow to exponential sizes often covering elven cities, & rainfall is plentiful and heals the area. Alfheim summers increase the temperature of the planet as well as melt the ice caps of Alfheim making fire magic much stronger, violet rainstorms wreath the land the magical lightning makes lightning ether crystals in the ground. Alfheim autumn brings down the temperature, a warning for winter the leaves change color, and the possibility of thunderstorms becomes more prevalent. During the winter Alfheim is completely frozen over the other elves aside from the snow elves go into hibernation while the snow elves gain full reign over Alfheim for that time.
Localized Phenomena
- Arcane Auroras: During the middle of spring and winter an aurora of arcane light glitters the night sky from it comes small fragments of Arcanium.
- Arcane Storms: Week long storms of magic that augments the arcane magic of those on Alfheim.
- Arcana Flares: Month long flares coming from the Arconis that can cancel all arcane magic for that time.
- Crossings: Randomly on Alfheim will crossings to the Primal Heart & Sorrow Heart will appear.
Fauna & Flora
Alfheim has flora & fauna full of magic similar to the Primal Heart & Sorrow Heart. Trees with bark as hard as iron, flowers with elemental properties and used to make potions. A variety of different berries for further alchemical work. Alfheim has Spacial Hounds, Umbral Leopards, Lumen Hawks, ECT.
Natural Resources
Alfheim has many resources that the alfir use ether of many types not just base ether but the other forms of ether fusion ether, & refined ether are also found in Alfheim. Some of the elves use the bark of the Ironwood Tree as well as alfir steel for their weapons and armor.
History
Alfheim was a lone planet in the Arconis System formed over the thousands of years & affected by the magic of the arconis cultivating life across the lands. Eventually elves arrived on the planet through crossings after their war on Midgard turning this world into their new home and splitting the areas amongst each other. The elves lived in harmony under their coalition building their settlements and encampments as well as their armies but their harmony ended after the Black War. The Soulless and the Aphelion struck fear into the elves causing civil discord, some wanting to remove the crossings so demon class soulless can't enter, others wanting to keep them around to use it against them. This civil discord eventually became too much for some of the elves and left Alfheim giving the rest of the elves the most power over the planet.
Tourism
Many people of the Arconis System often visit Alfheim, typically avalonians, asgardians, draconians, & jotuns often visit. The aphelion used to invade the world during the black war but were banished from it by the end of the war.
