Dark Elves
Dark Elves also called Drow are a type of elf that evolved from the Shade Elves. These elves are often confused for their Silican cousins but they aren't as cruel as the silican Drow. The drow are a kind and gentle race that lives deep underground channeling their minds through the deep having a strong connection to the darkness enhancing their sight to see and remake what was once there.

Drow have very strong eyesight, being able to see double the range of other elves. Their minds have a unique ability to connect to the minds of others through the darkness they live in, being able to form psychic link with others and read their minds.

Drow live a distinguished & isolationist lifestyle in their underground cities only interacting with other races for the purposes of trade. Their society revolves around kinship and connection and what can come from their connection with each other. While the dark elves are isolationist they are friendly ready to interact with other races although other race don't feel the same about them. They are always ready to lend a hand to their kin and peers trying to establish a connection that can be used by their deep sight.

Dark Elves live deep underground in the continental sizes tunnel networks known to litter the underground of zodia, Alfheim, and other worlds.

Dark Elves due to their environment have much better sight than normal elves having darkvision in 120ft. of the elf. Dark Elves also posses "Deep Sight" as they focus on their sight and mind to see and remake what once existed in their area.

They usually use divination, conjuration, and abjuration for their civilizations due to the defensive and informative nature of those magics.

Drow where tight fitting clothing made of the black leather gained from the underground reptiles of their homes. This clothing aids them in stealth as they camouflage in the darkness of their homes.

Dark Elves dwell underground to avoid the dangers of the surface and remain in isolation to be under the radar of other underground cities. They prefer to only look out for their people, not caring about warfare or conquering, leading to them prioritizing divination, conjuration, & abjuration to optimize their defensive capabilities. They care about each other and their community knowing it could be destroyed and lose everything they are very secretive and would rather avoid unfamiliar faces than accept them.

History
Dark Elves being born from the genetic dilution of shade elves were seen as the closests to the shade elves but wanted to desperately be seen as separate from their dreery heritage. The Drow upon leaving Primal Heart they were separated from their kin giving them deep heartache and sorrow hiding themselves away underground to avoid any more losses. The elves developed a strong connection with each other making their culture of kinship and camaraderie. Many dark elves now live deep underground in fear of the other races although half of them have found higher meaning in their faith in the moon goddess.

Lord Erevan, The Shade King
- A drow lord who fought in the Raven War and known as the first ever Deep Seer sparking legends of true creation. He was a benevolent leader who always made sure his people were taken care of dying during the war and heralded as a hero to all Drow.

- It's believed that Dark Elves have the power of creation due to their deep sight when in reality it's more complex than making anything they want.
- Some believe that Drow are the same as the silican drow that raid settlements and worship Silica.
- Other elves believe that these Drow could uncover how to fix their reincarnation issue through their deep sight and learning the secrets of their heaven.
