History
Forest Elves came from the genetic dilution of light elves leaving Primal Heart during the war for the realm. Due to their innate connection to plants and animals they sought to forge their homes in forests but to coexist with nature better they decided to make their homes in trees using their connection to plants to hollow out trees to act as huts and forge weapons perfect for their hunting lifestyle. Forest Elves lived in secluded bliss although they had to deal with hostiles threatening their homes often driving out humans and orcs although these defensive attacks eventually became simply killing the invaders who refused to leave their homes alone. This gave forest elves a reputation of being merciless killers who hoarded the forest's resources. Forest Elves soon had to deal with fire being used to destroy their homes leading to an alliance between them and high elves to quell the assaults eventually forests occupied by forest elves were warded from fires.

"It seems like forest elves and cinder elves don't get along much probably due to the wildfires. They typically stay out of each other's way as their preferred ecosystems are usually far apart but when two clans find each other they won't hesitate to get rid of each other. - Nelio”
"We have many forest elves in the Living Wind Woods as they returned sometime after the Undeadening. For the most part they're pretty peaceful climbing tall trees, hunting fauna, making their homes in the peak of the trees nearly 200ft. in the air. They even act as scouts for us although at the behest of Ivy. I was worried about living next to so many elves but I think they'll be fine. - Astrea”
"Forest elven technology is thought to be primitive but they seem very intelligent with how they conduct themselves in the art of war. Bows made from wood, arrows & swords made from sharpened stone as well as their knowledge of plants for medicine and poisons. They don't need traditional weapons as their territory is their greatest weapon. - Luna”
