Light Elves

The light elves are a tall, graceful, beautiful, & radiant race having a fair golden complexion & white hair. The light elves are attuned to light and bear many traits to match they are resistant to radiant energy, can momentarily move at light speed, nurture the growth of flora, generate light in many ways. The eyes of the light elves are capable of sight in darkness magic or otherwise and even gives them the ability to see through illusions.

Light Elves have a resistance to radiant energy as well as heat. They can generate photons from their bodies capable of feeding plants and making them grow at a fast pace. They can even intertwine themselves with their own photons to momentarily move at light speed, being able to move incredibly fast in mere seconds. Their manipulation of photons are strong enough to bend existing photons thus making illusions.

Light Elves primarily live in Primal Heart dwelling in forests and other vegetative biomes. Many used to live in Spinaria until their king was usurped and became the first generation of silican drow.

Light Elves typically live in forests and other biomes coated in primeval vegetation. They'll often carve out their cities in these forests using their innate magic to manipulate the plants and forge their settlements.

Light Elves typically consume fruit and small animals not needing much in terms of traditional food but they do also convert sunlight into energy as well.

Light Elves have great darkvision being able to see 120ft. into darkness and make out the colors in complete darkness.

To light elves to remain glowing and radiant exemplifies their beauty and grace to let their light dim is to reject their own beauty

The light elves use their light as means of courting as they use their light to make many different radiant colors. The one with the best light show is considered the dominant one in the relationship.

Light Elves are an advanced race using photons as a means of energy, incorporating hardened glass into their weapons and armor to focus and magnify their photon generation. They like other elves are well adept in rune carving making runes that project light and radiance. Their infrastructure is mostly plant based melding plants with stone to craft their settlements.

Light Elves typically speak Elvish but are known to speak Sylvan as well.

Light Elves often glimmer brightly around each other to initiate conversation as a show of interest and care.

Light Elves adore primeval nature & light magic from their homeland and it being so versatile for their lives and warfare. They don't care for darkness as it was the magic of their enemies and proved to be weaker than their light.

Light Elves to welcome newcomers do a ritual where they use their light speed to become different colors of light. These elves cremate their dead, placing their ashes in the forest to become one with the woodlands, after firing light beams in the air to acknowledge their fallen.

Light Elves don't venture out of Primal Heart as it could lead to them abandoning their homes like their descendants & the other realms pale in comparison to Primal Heart. They don't use magic that doesn't involve light, plants, and other Fey related aspects, especially dark magic like necromancy.

The Light Elves were born from the genetic dilution of the Iralden attuned to spring and summer being born as beautiful and glamorous beings adored by the Primal Heart and its fey denizens. They lived alongside their Iralden ancestors in the many floral settlements of Primal Heart honing their attunement to light and eventually made their elven descendants high elves, forest elves, cinder elves, & ocean elves also being adored by the realm. Once the Primal War broke out the Light Elves remained to fight for their home, slaying shadow elves and others nychtan fey although their descendants abandoned their home and people being forever scorned by the light elves contributing to the curse of scorn placed on all descendant elves.   The light elves fought hard and eventually won through their determination and aid from the celestial Saisisium who took the land of Nightfall and remade it into his own kingdom, 50% of the light elven population were inspired by the celestial's bravery and choose to live under him making two groups of light elves the prime born & silk born both on friendly terms with each other until the silk born where corrupted. The remaining Light Elves continue their lives in Primal Heart never seeing a need to leave their realm.

Lady Photana: A light elf who led the Phota Vanguard and was a disciple of the arc fey. She was beloved by the other elves and given a statue when she perished in the war.

Many think that Light Elves can use their light speed to travel through time to attempt to discover the reason for their reincarnation.

Shade Elves

• The opposite of the Light Elves, the two fought against each other in the Primal War. The shade elves have been an enemy of the light elves for a long time and the two remain apart to avoid conflict.
