Outskirts

What's Here

The Outskirts is the name for the disconnected towns, villages, and farms that sit outside the main reaches of Galendra. Though the bright lights and body mods of Glowcore are less common, the vibrancy of Nisoran culture still shows itself in spray-painted murals and rainbow banners. Covert meetings often happen behind closed doors here, far from prying eyes of rival gangs in the city.   These smaller communities provide produce and raw materials that get shipped around the planet to be sold or turned into other products. While there are a handful of shops in these towns, most supplies they can't make come from the city. Sometimes the products are shipped to them, but often the young adults are tasked with making the trip into Galendra to purchase what's needed. With the recent unrest damaging many tracks, train lines are unable to run. The Outskirts communities are unable to either resupply or provide their usual staples to the rest of the planet.
