My name is Veryan Kai. As someone whose been interested in the things I can tinker with, its been tricky living on a planet just starting on their uplift, but its enough to get by with. My thin frame and lithe fingers have made me a prime candidate for fixing the ancient technology from before the Involuntary Uplift and selling it on. I was drafted by The Syndicate to help in getting the old tech from this planet, in return for enough supplies to get my own more advanced off world tech. I'm better scrounging on my own than dealing with other people. I learned that being born in the end of the Battle of Talmar, I was lucky to avoid much of the conflicts across the planet, my parents weren't.

While I work as a mechanic, my heart resides with history and it's conservation, especially about their old machines. Show me an old piece of machinery and I'll forget about the world until I figure it out and make a schematic of it.
