Gënlèul- Land of Dawn
Gënlèul is the largest city in all of Hechesoieh, housing over twenty million elves, 1 million half-elves, 2 million Anadi, five-hundred thousand humans, and less then twenty-thousand of other races, (including roughly 100-200 giants).
Geography
The geography of Gënlèul is mostly terraformed desert. A large central lake dominates the central area of the city.
Ecosystem
Natural ecosystem is desert, though terraforming has turned the land into a magical oasis even beyond the central natural oasis. Due to the elven natural ability to terraform, the city is a comfortable space in the center of the world's largest desert.
Localized Phenomena
Magically, and kinetically maintained climate cooling through wind and moisture causes the land to be cooler, incidentally, anyone within the city is affected as if by (Tailwind) as a permanent ability while withing the bounds of the city. This affects the trolley system within the city as well as the anadi silkway travel. (essentially allowing individuals to travel an extra 8 miles per day in the boundaries of the city.)
Aulven Wood Kineticists have grown bioluminescent fungus on each pyramid, and bioluminescent algae that works to filter the water of the lake, Tal kët, of contaminants. The bioluminescence and night fires allow for nighttime vision for the inhabitants of the city.
Climate
Much cooler than the surrounding land, and with the control maintained, the gardens of the land are well-maintained.

History
The oasis had been a focal point of Anadi and giant culture for their entire history. The city, However has existed for less than one-hundred years. It was build during the war with the giants, and has grown over the past century into one of the largest cities on the entire world. Its name is a fusion of Anadi and Aulven languages to give it its meaning
Tourism
Those who come to Gënlèul find it to be very welcoming to tourists, the entire central southern section of the city is dedicated to tourism.
