Skyfall
The Islands of Heaven
Floating untouched over the oceans surrounding Ustremmel, the island cluster of Skyfall is home to the Celestials. Ruled by the King, Damasca, Skyfall is a surprisingly peaceful place in the midst of the wars being waged on the mainland.
Unreachable by most of the other species, there is very little known about the activities that happen on Skyfall, since surveillance of the area is almost impossible by magical and non-magical means. And any surveillance that does manage to reach the island seems to mysteriously disappear without a trace.
Geography
Comprised of three main islands and many extra floating fragments, the island system of Skyfall is relatively small. All fresh water comes from the condensation in the surrounding clouds, which collects into pools on the ground of the islands and at the higher mountain points, which then falls down in the form of waterfalls.
Localized Phenomena
Due to the high altitudes and multiple clouds that surround the islands, the Skyfall islands are stuck in a perpetual cycle of rain and dew. While extreme storms are rare, there is almost always light rain affecting the islands, except in cases of extreme drought.
Fauna & Flora
While there is an abundance of flowers and herbs that the Celestials manually tame, there are no native animals except for the birds that use Skyfall as a migration spot. Small wyverns may also visit the outskirts of the island system, but the magical barriers that protect the island keep the larger reptiles from entering the premises.
