Ustremmel
The Main Continent
The largest known landmass on Dominus, this supercontinent houses most of the sentient life in Dominus. Both on its surface and in the giant caverns of Fernal under the continent, this continent serves as a bastion for life on the planet.
Geography
Ustremmel contains a range of biomes. The continent's middle remains uninhabited primarily, filled with the rolling plains of The Rolling Wastes that lack much water to facilitate large settlements. The Jotun Mountains to the East and Shadowed Mountains to the West frame the continent on both sides. To the North lies the Glass Desert, and to the South lies the Faelands and the Murkmire.
Climate
Ustremmel offers a seasonal climate that ranges from warm summers to harsh winters. Located North of Dominus' equator, the continent of Ustremmel gets incredibly cold in the bleak winter. While snow is rare in the North due to the lack of precipitation in the Glass Desert, the harsh temperatures still claim many lives and cause many animal migrations into the Southern forests and swamps.
