Archangels (ahrk-eyn-juhlz)
The Leaders of Heaven. The Four Winged Warriors.
Dwelling within the heart of the city, the Archangels are a family of powerful Celestials, and the rulers of this magical species. Lead by the oldest son, Damasca, this traditionally maternal family structure is now held in a chokehold.
With Damasca as the new head of the family, Satir, the middle son, is kept as the right hand to Damasca. He focuses on the small-scale steps and operations of Damasca's generalizations, allowing a big-picture plan to become a carefully cultivated reality. The twins and youngest Archangels Zephiel and Lilani are in charge of the military operations. While this would naturally give the twins a large amount of power, they are forced to carefully follow the orders of their older brothers.

Public Agenda
While the motivations of the Archangels have always been shrouded in a thick layer of mystery, their primary goal has always been to look after the well-being of their people and lead them towards power and prosperity. However, when looking at the goals of the Archangels individually, this goal seems much more nuanced.
While Damasca and Satir usually present a united front, much more heavily bent towards Damasca's plans and will, the motivations of the Twins are a bit more confusing. While they follow the orders of their older brothers, Lilani and Zephiel do not seem to share all of their opinions and goals. Zephiel in particular seems to butt heads with his brother often, and conflict between these two brothers is the most common of fights between the Archangels.
Assets
As the leaders of the Celestials, the Archangels control the entire city as their available assets. All of the buildings, excess wealth, and Celestials that live within Skyfall's city are Damasca's by right.
However, Damasca does not claim the Darkling Celestials as his own, ostracizing and outcasting them to the Slums. In the case where Damasca doesn't want a resource, the Twins claim it as their own. In the slums, the Twins have gained some form of political standing with their Darkling comrades and have semi to complete control of the entire Slum region.
History
After the sequential death of the Archangel leader Zalla and her husband Flaine, the family was left instantly without any leadership or direction. During the funeral for both of the dead parents, a fight broke out between Damasca and the Twins, although the severity or cause for the conflict has been lost over time. After this conflict, Damasca took over as the leader of the Archangels, leaving the Twins in the slums with the Darklings as the military figureheads. This status-quo has been maintained up until the present day.
