Fourcorners
Forecorners is a halfling neighborhood is centrally located in the area between the Great Canal on the west and the Depot on the east. The Forecorners neighborhood, unlike much of the city of Toresta, is made up of single family residences, built in the traditional halfling pattern. Many of the inhabitants have long illustious lineages in the city tracing their ancestry back to the first caravan to arrive in the city.

Architecture
The traditional halfling architecture is one of the things that stands out about this area. Discrete residential structures are unusual in Teresta, where most middle and working class inhabitants live in the the insulae apartment buildings. Traditional halfing structures are single story, low to the ground homes typically with small gardens, where the inhabitants grow herbs or the occasional tomato. There are no commercial buildings here, requiring residents to leave their cozy neighborhood to conduct custom.
A quiet neighborhood of ordered affairs, where even at night the warm light of the everlasting lanterns speak of well kept spaces.
