Architecture
Most of the buildings in Diorow are insulae. As such many have commercial properties, such as shops, taverns or other businesses on the first floor with three floors of apartments above. Many are centered around a central courtyard, open to the sky and having trees, gardens or public parks. These insulae have high ceilings and are stoutly built to accommodate the robust strength of their usual inhabitants. That means their four stories equate to six or more stories in elevation. The large raisers on their stairs is often a chore for other species.
A vibrant working class neighborhood. Most streets are lit by everlast lanterns, but the occasion alley can be a bad place to be at night, even for a goliath.
