Pete
Pete is an original member of Willowmoor's leadership; he's known for being ridiculously good-looking.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Pete's in great shape when he arrives at The Arena - fit and muscular. He'll lose weight and thin out with everyone else as they're rationing portions on the road, but he'll bounce right back to optimal fitness after helping to build Willowmoor.
Identifying Characteristics
Pete stands out by virtue of simply being incredibly handsome.
Apparel & Accessories
Pete showed up at the arena topless, his sweater having been tied around his head to stem the bleeding from a nasty gash in his forehead. He wore jeans and boots that he held onto for a long time; he did get one of the hoodies from the arena that were sold as merch for the local hockey team.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Pete was born in the Before Times, so not much is known about his life before the bombs dropped.
Mental Trauma
Pete was fortunate to start his journey to the arena with a vehicle, though he lost it when some ruffians barred his path and dragged him bodily out of it. He had packed a bag that sat on the car's back seat, so that was stolen from him as well. This occurred the morning after the bombs dropped, and he spent a couple of hours after that wandering on his own, hiding from other people he came across--that is, until he ran into Phyllis and Pelly. They were being cornered by another group of ruffians, and he couldn't slink away or stand by. He was injured in the attempt to get between the men and women, one of the men slashing his forehead with a knife. They got away by virtue of Phyllis's quick thinking, the three of them traveling the rest of the afternoon to arrive at the arena together. Not only does Pete bear the scar on his forehead from that encounter, he bears psychological scars, too. Like many who spent significant time outside before reaching the safety of the arena, he grows mistrustful of other people.
Morality & Philosophy
Pete stopped to help Phyllis and Pelly because of his moral compass; he cannot leave another human in need if he has the ability to help. He does notice he used to be a more forgiving person, and now he's more concerned with the punishments of those like the ruffians that attacked the sisters.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Like many of the survivors, Pete is motivated by a desire to return to some form of normal so that he can continue to live his life.
Savvies & Ineptitudes
Pete's a natural orator, and he has a smooth singing voice. He's also kind.
He's terrible at confrontation, and he gets embarrassed by too much attention.

Contacts & Relations
Pete arrives at the arena with sisters Phyllis and Pelly, though they met along the way and have no prior connection.
Religious Views
Pete grew up in a Protestant Christian home, though he never put much stock in the religion. He spent most of his life in the Before Times calling himself a Christian while never attending church or knowing much about the theology beside the basics. In time, he'll completely abandon the loose identity marker in favor of agnosticism.
Hobbies & Pets
Pete enjoys singing, though he hates doing it in front of people. He was also a big fan of baseball in the Before Times, and he enjoys traveling.
He has no pets.
