Advisory Council
An organization that cropped up briefly during the survivors' time taking shelter in the arena; it was made up of only those who spent significant time out in the dangerous new world.
Structure
There was no hierarchy, each councilmember having an equal voice in the shape of their vote.
Public Agenda
The public goals of the council were to represent the people of The Arena while also providing sound advice to the Leadership Council since only members of the Advisory Council had been out in the new world at that time.
Privately, their agenda was to keep the self-appointed leadership in check.
Assets
The obvious asset of the Advisory Council were its members who spent significant time in the new world. Each person's experience provided them with a unique perspective on the state of things that many in the arena simply did not have.
Before the council was disbanded, its founder was considered by many to be one of its prized assets.
History
Adam saw a need for this council after arriving at the arena, becoming familiar with how things were being run there, and because of his extensive knowledge of the world beyond it. He worked with the Leadership Council instead of against it, thus ensuring his council's successful formation.
Disbandment
The council disbanded when everyone was forced to flee the arena. Most members of the council went on to form the Caravan Conclave with a few former members of the Leadership Council.
