Pelly

Pelly was small and relatively fit, though she lost weight in The Arena and on the road with everyone else. She turned up in a knee-length woolen dress and fur boots, but she changed into pants and sweaters for most of the rest of her time there and on the road.

Pelly was born in the Before Times, so not much is known about her life before the bombs dropped. The night the world ended, she and her sister, Phyllis, made their way to the nearest police station, but they quickly realized the local cops were stretched thin and would be unable to provide any help. It was the cops, though, who suggested they make their way to the nearby arena, so that's the direction they headed. At first, Pelly tried to help every injured soul they came across, despite her sister's objections, but then they came across a person who was only pretending to need help. When the two sisters approached this man, his companions came out of hiding to attack. This was when the sisters met Pete, who happened to be nearby at the time and came to their rescue. He might have been killed in the attempt if it were not for Phyllis's fast thinking, and he joined the sisters on the remainder of their equally unhappy journey to the arena. Pelly tried not to let her experiences color her faith in humanity, but she suffered terrible nightmares reliving them over and over again.

Pelly was briefly a member of the Advisory Council, and when that dissolved, the Caravan Conclave. She likely would have gone on to serve Willowmoor itself had she not suffered an untimely death on the way to the future site of the village.

Pelly arrived at the arena with her sister, Phyllis, and the stranger they met along the way: Pete. She made other friends, as everyone who met her couldn't help liking her, but one of her closest was Isabelle.

Her big sister Phyllis was by her side when she passed away.

Pelly liked to watch romantic comedies and she enjoyed a good game of tennis.

She had no pets.
