It is Time - Rafiki, The Lion King
The time draws near as World Ember has finally come to consume us all into its blazing inferno for writing, which means it's a good thing. After a bit of time laying low, experimenting, and reviewing, I am all set to figure out my plans for this year's end. But now, like always, a bit of homework is needed to get things straightened out with the old rug beat and give you a glimpse of what's on my whacky head and the things I have in store this December, and here we go down to a world down below, where things are not as they seem nor will they ever be.
Week One: All About the Pledge
The Plan
Alright, then, like every year, I will be pledging to write fifty thousand words. Considering that I missed that goal last year, I plan to finish it this time. I should have everything planned out at the moment, with me returning to my roots with The Sagas after a long break and a much-needed glass back into The Chronicles.
The idea of what I am going to write this month has been going on for a while, but now I know what to do thus far, and it is something deep and primal with an ancient feel that is as old as the world itself that clashes with a new one that will inevitably lead to conflict. It is for that reason I will be heading into some wild places in my writing with locations, cultures, races, and more, with my first being with what I think is the most appropriate, considering the arrival of winter is a place of the same climate, that being the Continent of Norria that delves into its history and culture that has been long since on hold at this time. The ideas are there, but I just haven't had the time to delve into them so that they can finally be taken off my chest.
The Dreaded Meta
If there is one thing that I do not like about working on my worlds, it is building up a meta for them. I believe that anyone interested in my work should be able to figure things out on their own rather than having it shoved into their face about what it's all about, and I have been ignoring it ever since. But I might as well get over it to at least help people confused about what is happening.
Week Two: Prep Time For Newbies

Okay so with what is going on with my homepages I consider them fine at the moment seeing that they have styles and appeal to them and their intros are just as convincing to get people interested in them so that's all good then.
Primer Time
I never really thought about creating a primer for any of my worlds before, and I doubt I would have time to do it any time soon, considering the info needed to build upon them would be too much at the moment and most likely not finished until next year. But my idea of letting people explore the sidebar for my work rather than just putting it into their faces is much more my style for the time being.
Community Service
Okay, I am all good about my community setup, as anyone can subscribe and have access to my writing without spending money to gain a special subscriber rank and whatnot, so I am all good on that part. I am am not going to stream or just chat over some hour stuff because I do not have time for that since I am too busy working all the time. I made a Discord server that I still carry dust on, and I don't think anyone is interested that much in it unless I see otherwise, so that will stay shelved.
CSS Miami
For a while, I have been laying off on the idea of CSS coding seeing that the overall design of my worlds has been exceptional for the time being. But now I have been adding some new things here and there to make them more interactive with my viewers, I had planned for more but a busy schedule and will have to hold off on that till next year when things die down next year so I will keep in touch for the time being.
Week Three: Inspirational Hunting Season
Gain An Experience
The main reason why I have come to the theme of my worldember has come from two things: I have waited late to write this more than I should have. That being a little show called Arcane, and I have to say ( Insert profanity and then some) that show was worth the three-year wait, and it will be etched into my psyche for the rest of my life. The second was a video game that was more of a movie than anything else, with it being called God of War Ragnorok, which I have to say is ( Insert more profanity and a little extra) so inspiring that they managed to keep everything from falling apart and allow it to evolve into something else. This is often the story that we all strive to create in our lives, a pure experience that revolves around the journies of people in a world so different yet similar to ours without forcing it or corrupting it for personal politics or vanity. That aids us in learning to understand ourselves and the world so we may come out greater than we were before as we continue to evolve in our lives for the better.
What Is The Mood
Ah, setting the mood for something can often be a hard thing to do. Still, I never had the problem, and I usually had the idea all already figured back in the day: scrounging the internet for images to use in my writing and asking permission from any artist I could find to make my writing stand out. It is sometimes tiring since people prefer to have pictures when reading something to maintain their attention span. I'm just glad AI art made things more affordable and aided my visual perspective on my work. Dont get me wrong, I don't deny the importance of real art in helping out now and again. It's just too expensive to commission here and there, but I still do it if I have some change to spare. I have become cautious with the staring artists who have constantly been banging on my door lately and trying to drain my bank account. As for music, I look around and place it in if it matches what I am writing now and again.

I'll tell you a little secret: I don't listen to music to write my work, or even in general, I often do it in sweet silence. I don't mind it if it is in the background so long it does not distract me from my work. Sure, I use it to add flavor to my article here and now, but it is more of an ambiance thing, and to those who wonder how I manage to write some of my songs in my writing so well, I let you on a little secret: I know a lot of words and am obsessed with rhymes so there you have it.
Week Four: Friendship Is Forever
A Place To Belong
Socialization was never one of my strong suits, as I have rarely been in that many social circles. The same can be said, for the most part, on World Anvil, besides a chat here and there and posting my work on the channels. I have very few people in my life who support my work, and I have decided to have a chat and an option on my writing to see how they feel about In doing so, I will try to read what they write. The least I can do for their support is both old and new.
Nocturnal Affairs
Much of the day is often too busy for me to write, and only the night can deal with it all. I was always a night owl anyway, so I worked away when everyone else was sleeping. The same can be said for my job, so I do some writing on my breaks when I can. I should be able to get a good amount done in the first week since it shouldn't be that busy, either. Things for the rest of the month will get a little hairy for me, but I know that life is just a game of chance time after time that can go either way in your favor or against you.
Breath Man, Just Breath
Yes, I get it. I need to be outside now and again, but when you're in winter, it is hard to do that as no one wants to be out in the cold. Nature and I have often had a strained relationship with one another anyway, and I do not feel like getting on its bad side at this time. I have been laying off most of the writing for a while now, so I should be good on that part. So I will be right as rain when the challenge finally starts. I have been watching movies and playing games to keep my creative flare going. With the holiday season, I have been visiting family to rekindle familial bonds and just enjoy the time we have for one another. So everything will be set in my neck of the words from here on out, and I will be on my A game as soon as December rolls in.
Contemplating Embers
Well, this was quite the WorldEmber this year and a comeback to what happened last year so I feel good about it. The only problem was my fingers were aching but I’m use to that. With every year I have come to learn more and more about improving my writhing and managing my time on a short limit of time. Mainly hiding away from people and writing multiple articles at once when your brain overloads, which is much easier than you realize when you get the hang of it. All being said I have reached a point that I have come to a realization that must be addressed as I have seen the future and the path I must take to ensure my work reaches far and wide across the land as far as the eye can see, expansion.
That right I am preparing once more for a arms race to expand my empire into the site in an attempt to overthrow the existing order that has existed long since the early days of World Anvil. For I have learned that writing does not just need good dialogue or characters, but a better and more refined cover to stand out amongst the rest. This is why I will be doing some long needed updates to by my paged and how to interact with them. I will search far and wide for those will to aid me in this venture and like a bird leaving its nest for the first time I will soar freely to reach my goals, only it has been several nests at this point and many birds trying to poo on me while I’m walk below them. Yet that hasn't stopped before and neither will it again I have an umbrella to made sure.
Now onto other news with high command, this year will see the arrival of many challenges and I want you to face them head on as we storm the beaches and earn those badge. This year I will announce my greatest venture yet into the challenge community and after much planing I am proud to announce the first ever Challengathon. This shall be completion that shall last all year long with a challenge for every month made by your truly. The first challenge will arrive soon as many of you have been recovering from December with more information to be disclosed when the article comes out.
