Rising from the edge of the bay up the steep mountainside, the surprisingly grand city of Ravona delt with their limited space by building the city upward; not just up the mountainside, but literally ontop of itself, creating a cityscape of both grand and precarious towers, interconnected by a tangle of elegant bridges and rope walkways. This is the Big Apple of the Cabriana Islands and the closest thing to what one might call a "civilized" society. Still, regulation is difficult when the only organized police force consists of the Bogado family's personal guard...which greater resembles a small army. Here, trade almost thrives like it did before the Harrowing, and such prosperity has produced a new generation of "thinkers" (proto-scientists), artists, and architects, attempting to revive the lost knowledge of the great continental scholars of old.
