Marifat

When standing on Occam's razor thou shall,

not try to tip the scales in their favor.

~ Cadi William of Ockham, Seat of Evaluation

Marifat, the bustling inner district of Shal’Azura, is a hub of authority and decision-making, known as the court of law and the heart of governmental activities. The streets are lined with dignified officials, their teal-colored caftans catching the eye, each garment proudly adorned with the intricate Emblem of the Erudite Triad—a symbol of wisdom and unity. Among them, lawyers and judges stand out in their pristine white caftans, a stark contrast against the vibrant hues around them, exuding an air of solemnity and justice as they move purposefully through the corridors of power. Scattered among the crowd, one can also spot individuals in charcoal caftans, people who have been found guilty of breaking the law, diligently working to make amends for their wrongdoings.     The stunning plaza Maqar Al Qanun is perched 50 feet above the impressive Xundeva Chen High Court of Shal’Azura. It graces the top floor of the Court of Appeals, offering a breathtaking view that encompasses the High Court, the Court of Appeals, and the Arcane Court. At the heart of this magnificent plaza stands the Sun-clock Fountain, a true architectural masterpiece. The fountain gleams with intricate designs and precise craftsmanship, its waters cascading gracefully in a dance that mirrors the passage of time, creating an enchanting focal point amidst the grandeur of the surrounding courts.
