Ta'alaq
Ta'alaq tavern, Ta’Alaq meaning “the Sparkle”, is nestled beneath the center of Bennabi Bridge Crossing. From there, one can gaze through the rushing Bennabi Falls in the Fajirun District, located to the east of Shal'Azura, offering a stunning view of the lush, ancient Wadi Akhdar, once the foundation of the City of the Desert Rose. As the sun rises over the desert dunes, the mist transforms into a sparkling rainbow of vibrant colors that dance both outside and inside the Ta'alaq, adorning every surface like countless colorful fireflies.
The Ta'alaq tavern carries scents of exotic spices and incense from far-off lands, mixed with the refreshing breeze of mist from Bennabi Falls. The rich aroma of delicious teas is present at any time of day, intermingled with the hearty sting of expensive araq and the delectable smell of various delicacies.
The soothing sound of rushing water softly fills the air, accompanied by the gentle chirping of birds and rustling leaves from the Wadi Akhdar below. Inside the tavern, lively music and chatter can be heard with the occasional rattling of a dice cup or happy exclamation of victory that resounds through the stone tunnels that lead deeper into the tavern, adding to the festive atmosphere. As the sunlight hits the crystals and jewels adorning the walls, a soft tinkling sound resonates throughout the space at an interval of exactly fifteen minutes.
