Amana
A little gate my book can be
That leads to fields of minstrelsy,
And though you think I sit at home
Afar in foreign fields I roam.

~Annette Wynne, teacher at Bahar AmphitheaterAmana, while stunning and artistic, is a complex network of lively trade, technological wonders, and cultural interactions, where the vitality of countless lives blends into the vibrant rhythm of a city. Situated on the northern shores of Lake Haiyeti, this district teems with visitors from the farthest corners of the continent and beyond. Whether they come by lightning rail to Daggerpalm Station or by skyship to the Westwind’s Vantage Skyport, Amana is the initial glimpse a curious traveler has of Shal’Azura.
Owing to the prosperity of local merchants and Amana's significance as a social center, the vicinity surrounding the Grand Bazaar is often referred to as the "Gold Coast." This area boasts a wealth of valuable items, ranging from everyday goods of exceptional quality to precious gems, exquisite art, and rare books. Additionally, one can find potent arcane artifacts crafted by the Masters of the Bennain Guild of Artificers, the Taqadum School of Technomancy, and even the Desert Rose University.
Beyond the Gold Coast, you'll find streets lined with opulent homes and shops, each a palace in its own right. Nestled among the pristine rose-marble streets are numerous small parks, adorned with trees and palms that offer respite and shade to the weary. In one such park, Jasmin Garden, stands the Bahar Amphitheater, Shal’Azura’s bard college, where minstrels and musicians, performers and dancers delve into the realms of creativity and imagination.
