Develop The Border
The baron of Frent, liege of the lands where the party members live, and most of them grew up, is concerned his neighbor Lord Grisen is encroaching on their shared border to the south, and requests the party develop his side of it as a hunting ground by beginning the construcion of a "hunting lodge," and to scout out what their neighbors might be up to along the ridge lands. Both of the nobles are low among the aristocracy, and their shared border has been stable since the time of their fathers, but the new lord Grisen is young and ambitious with a reputation for twisting and bending the law and the king's edicts in his favor.
Party members are all young human commoners (family of franklins and yeomen) in the barony who have known eachother in passing for years, and who each aspire to gain recognition or social advancement for them self or their families. Volunteering to help Lord Frent find out what is going on and setting up a new lodge may be just the favor they need to gain his attention.
The adventure begins with all of these characters, and perhaps a few less notable ones, summoned to Lord Frent's hall to hear a call for assistance, and opportunity to volunteer their service. Who will step forward from the group to help their kindly lord, and earn his favor?- Daneta Zaglis - Ranger, poacher.
- Endrik Saeveski - Fighter, woodworker
- Flora Kornfeld - Druid, blessed of Vegori
- Jesper Frugtmand - Rogue, gambler
- Knud Retsmand - Cleric, barrister
- Odette Zauberbund - Wizard, sparks academy dropout
- Sammal Metsa - Ranger, spotter
- Vagn Slagter - Barbarian, butcher
