Endrik Saeveski
Backstory
Fighter known for winning competitions at the local holiday faires by hewing and tossing logs and other feats of strength or endurance. Endrik has been an eager militia trainee, dissapointed that he has been unable to join the lords levies yet. He is one of the young folk in the village who has traveled the most, joining his older brothers when they sell goods from the family sawmill in other nearby villages or towns.
Appearance
Endrik is a young man of 17 with short curly blonde hair, and a slender muscular build. He is often seen carrying an axe and using it like an extension of his arm. Although he lacks the charm and salesmanship of his older brothers, he eagerly engages with others with a big smile in hopes of being drawn into an adventure.
Motivation
As the son of the Franklin Oskar of Frent, operating the sawmill in the outlying village, Endrik and his brothers would be exempt from the usual conscription, but the elder sons of Oskar have always volunteered and taken roles of leadership in Lord Frent's levies. Endrik is eager to join them, but has not been allowed. Volunteering for this expedition on on the border of Frent would be an opportunity for Endrik to fight and adventure, proving he is ready for next season's campaigns.
Catchphrases
"Let the Adventure Begin, One Chop at a Time." A phrase Endrik's older brothers often say with a laugh, which he takes to mean valliantly hewing enemies in battle. (but probably just refers to the mundanity of the engineering duties their unit engages in)
"The World Awaits, and I'm Ready to Chop Down the Barriers." An argument Endrik has often made to be allowed to join the lords troops on campaign.
