James
Prince James
James Henry John Alexander von Lexington is the current Crown Prince of America, Prince of Baltimnore, and heir apparent to the throne of the United States. He is the eldest son of King Henry III and Queen Mary. He is married to Princess Vanessa of Haiti, and the two reside together in the Red Palace in Baltimore.
In 2010, Price James graduated from the American Royal Naval Academy, entering service as a naval staff officer shortly after. He has served as a diplomat on many endeavors, proving to be a skilled negotiator. He has received the ire of his father for being vocal of his liberal support, including for minority and LGBT rights. He has been criticized by King Henry as weak willed and soft, though this has mainly diminished Henry's public view as a poor father rather than as James' capabilities.
In 2014, James was appointed as the Prince Regent of Sequoyah. He has followed suit from his predecessors as a hands off approach to the region, allowing much of the governing to be done by the Principal Chiefs of the Five Tribes.
In 2016, a hurricane devastated the Kingdom of Haiti. James accompanied his aunt, Grand Duchess Teresa to Port-au-Prince, where they met with King Laurent I and Prince Royale Emmanuel to discuss American assistance. While in Haiti, this is where he met Princess Vanessa, and began a courtship, eventually leading to the Royal Wedding.
James is viewed among the American people as unsure of himself, though this is attributed by Unionist supporters to his father's criticism. Despite this, he is favored among the senior members of the royal family over his father, with much of this attributed to his social work for the impoverished communities.
