King Laurent I
Laurent Simone Christophe is the current King of Haiti, the husband to Queen Sophia Reyes, and the father of Prince Emmanuel and Princess Vanessa. During his reign, he abandoned the historical palace of Haiti after the destruction during the 2010 earthquake. Instead of restoring the palace, he elected to spend finance on rebuilding the destroyed homes of citizens. He has ruled over much unrest in the Caribbean, and has endured many assassinations of political figures. He suffered a severe hardship at the death of his young son lost during a hurricane.
