    Construction of the Monumental Cities
    Construction beginning/end

    For a time, in the early days of creation, the founding Monumentals that slew Gyrros and forged the world walked among it's people, ruling and teaching them directly. During this process, the first cities of the world are built, and cultures are born.

    Exodus of the Monumentals
    Religious event

    As societies and cultures flourish beneath their watchful eye a baleful prophecy warns of the destruction of Gyrraholm, ushered in by the Monumentals themselves. This warning can mean only one thing, the Monumentals must leave the world.

    The Wrath of the Elder Tempest

    The wrath of the Monumentals pushes the Kaldrold Clans to work together, which will lead to the establishment of a ruling power within Kaldrold and it's clans.

    Ascension of the First Wild King
    Political event

    The appointment of an official, singular point of rule during times of crisis within Kaldrold, known as the Wild King, as well as the appointment of Clan Jarls to lead in each Hold.

    Construction of the Hall of the Herosong
    Construction beginning/end

    After being crowned Jarl of the Mudra Clans, Runa Hastain propagates the values that she was taught as a Skald and valor bard by commissioning the construction of Kaldrold's first, and most prolific, Bardic College.

    Construction of the Great Archive in Augrfjell
    Construction beginning/end

    Under the supervision of Jarl Audun Osmund, the Great Archive is built in Augrfjell, and established as a library and academy of arcane and natural knowledge, that doubles as a temple to the Vikir Monumental, Augr.

    Founding

    Fostered beneath the chaotic and selfish rule of Jarl Ugagni, the White Scale Brotherhood is the first criminal organization of it's kind in Kaldrold, a haven for thieves and assassins alike.

    The Assassination of Jarl Ugagni, and the Usurpation of the Jarldom of Hestura
    Political event

    As Jarl Ugagni begins cracking down on unlawful activities in Heridahl and the surrounding Hold of Hestura, the White Scale Brotherhood bite back, leaving one of their own in the position of Jarl.

    The Redcliff Uprising
    Military action

    Though the bonds within the isles of Kaldrold had strengthened after the ascension of the first Wild King, squabbles between the clans of each Hold would continue, as Jarldom could be won in combat between aspiring Clan Chiefs and the current ruling Jarl, at said Jarl's discretion. One of the more notable, and bloody conflicts for the seat of power in a hold would come to be known as The Redcliff Uprising.

    Signing of the Feywild Migration Concordat
    Diplomatic action

    After the displacement, and subsequent conflict, involving the Elves and Gnomes who were forcibly pulled through the planes, a treaty was struck that would allow them safe passage and settlement rights in the world.

    The Arcanoclysm
    Era beginning/end

    As the Maelstrom that brought life to Gyrraholm burned down, it surged against it's planetary bonds relentlessly. At the moment of it's collapse, the realm that it fueled experienced a calamity unlike any the world had seen before, resulting in the loss of countless lives, a landscape that would be forever changed, and even the death of a few Monumentals who tried to avert disaster.

    The Deification of Vidir, Monumental of Nature
    Religious event

    Following the Arcanoclysm, the world was plunged into chaos. Many of the Monumental places of worship had crumbled during the seismic shift, while many more of the Monumentals themselves suffered mortal wounds on the field of battle. The following century would see the rise of the first Mortal soul to experience Apotheosis to replace a fallen deity, their long departed spirit ascending to the role of Monumental.
