For a time, in the early days of creation, the founding Monumentals that slew Gyrros and forged the world walked among it's people, ruling and teaching them directly. During this process, the first cities of the world are built, and cultures are born.
For a time, in the early days of creation, the founding Monumentals that slew Gyrros and forged the world walked among it's people, ruling and teaching them directly. During this process, the first cities of the world are built:
Andreianos, the City of Golden Columns, where the Valoreign Monumentals taught the virtues of law, philosophy and martial discipline personally, holding the first courts and assemblies among the Gods, which would be passed down in the years to come.
Domcleft, The Bleeding Harbour, so called for it's deep red waters where the Vikir Monumental's extolled the value of might and ferocity, punctuated by a confrontation between Kaldhrenn and Van Fridr, the Walking Doom.
Glasciath, the Green Bastion, was built by the Deiwild Monumentals and their followers, who were careful to follow the teachings of the Gods, and not reach too far or too greedily into the nearby wildlands.
Tapukūrae, the City in the Waves, was constructed by the Toa'ana under the guidance of the Monumentals of the Mana Atua, and it's proximity to the sea encouraged the people to nautical pursuits, from fishing and sailing, as well as athletic prowess. During the first clash of the Monumentals, the landmass was split, and Tapukūrae was lost beneath the waves that gave it so much.
Sahra'Maladh, the Jewel of the Sands, was constructed by the Alshamsi as directed by the Shams'anti Monumentals. Due to their varied natures, Sahra'Maladh had many aspects, from it's Grand Bazar overseen by Tajira Shinescales, the Monumental father of Yuan-Ti, to it's surprisingly bountiful orchards tended by Ashen, The Lady of Harvest.
Hajinaru, the devouring city, so called because it's expansive borders reached the edges of Teikokami itself before the Great Shatter. Built by the Teikoan people under the tutelage of the Okami Monumentals, it was a place of constant improvement, both for it's people and the city itself. While other settlements would be established outside it's walls over the centuries to come, it would swallow them all with time.
Mordingrad, the carved dominion, was the first Dwarven kingdom etched from the Reothàrd mountain range in Wildehart, an undertaking completed through the labour of both the Morndinsamman Monumentals and their Dwarven followers. It was here that the finest metalworking techniques were perfected, and the finest jewels were mined, before Thard Harr turned his attention to the wilds above ground (inspiring a generation of Dwarven Hunters to follow suit), as Laduguer and his daughter Duerra delve too deep, cursing themselves and their followers forevermore.
