The Assassination of Jarl Ugagni, and the Usurpation of the Jarldom of Hestura

As Jarl Ugagni begins cracking down on unlawful activities in Heridahl and the surrounding Hold of Hestura, the White Scale Brotherhood bite back, leaving one of their own in the position of Jarl.

For years, Jarl Hemming Ugagni has enjoyed his position of power, and all the benefits that come with it, to the detriment of Hestura and it's Capital, Heridahl. During the early years of his rule, various gangs and criminal organizations gained a permanent foothold in his city, eventually banding together to become the White Scale Brotherhood- the worst kept secret of Kaldrold.   Now, as the whispers of the Brotherhood grow louder and louder, the Jarl begins imposing strict punishments and assigning larger guard presence, but it is too late for him. Beneath the ground, in dank catacombs and early sewer systems, the White Scale Brotherhood meet to plot Hemming Ugagni's downfall.   During his nightly revelry, Ugagni's wine is laced with a powerful herbal concoction by assassins posing as courtesans, before they distract Hemming's personal guard and lure them away. With none of his loyal protectors around, Hemming awakens to find the Brotherhood's Guiding Hand (it's Five leaders) standing over him, daggers in hand. Hemming's body is never found, and when morning breaks Endre Vilster, Ringfinger of the Guiding Hand of the Brotherhood, sits atop the Jarl's throne, with a new retinue of thuggish guards enforcing the White Scale Brotherhood's new rule.   From this day forth, Heridahl is no stranger to a criminal in their Throne Hall.
