King Theoderich un Rathenau III (a.k.a. Odaskar)
Theoderich un Rathenau III is the current King of Adraus as of 1897 PI. During Theoderich III's reign as king, Adraus became involved in the Desh Interregnum War, which is known to be a stain upon his record as many Adrausii lives were lost for little to no benefit. Despite — or perhaps, due to — his poor record in war, Theoderich III rarely exercises his power as a monarch. This has led to many believing him to be a weak king by the military. On the inverse, the civilian population believes him to be an innovator.
Theoderich III is the king who oversaw the reformation and reorganization of the Royal Adrausii Army. He also oversaw much of the industrialization of Adraus, including the building of over 80% of the nation's current railways.

Personal History
Theoderich III was born as Crown Prince Odaskar un Rathenau in the year 1844 PI. His father, Ottomar un Rathenau, also known as the Absent King, was frequently ill and often ruled from his sickbed. Because of the Absent King's sickly nature, the ministers sought oppressive measures in an attempt to solidify his reign. This resulted in a tumultuous start to Theoderich III's reign after his father's death in 1870 PI. Theoderich III took his regnal name as a tribute to the great kings of Adraus' early history on the suggestion of his father's ministers, who felt the callback to the golden ages of Adraus would be beneficial in raising public opinion of the new, young king.Family Ties
