Rathen, The City of Wolves

People come to the city of Rathen for a myriad of reasons, both personal and professional. Many come here for the opportunities present within the city, to learn at the Grand Royal University which is the largest and oldest in the country. Some come to pay homage to Wolveshead Cathedral, the largest cathedral in the country, or to practice at Wolveshead Seminary and become part of the priesthood. If not for education, the city offers many opportunities to join the Royal Adrausii Army and Navy - as the city and the country have a long military history and honors it within the city. If all else fails, the city has a thriving arts, fashion, and theatrical scene where many artists perform publically for tips and change while professionals operate within the city's grand theatres, museums, and salons.   Besides this, the city is one of the few places in Adraus to host a Spiritual Garden, a large greenery within the city where spirits of the Still Realm rest and play while allowing humans to watch and interact and learn from them without needing to make a pact. This greenery, along with many others in and around the city, are protected and cared for by the priests of the Grand Wolveshead Cathedral in exchange for tax exemption status and a stipend from the government. These areas offer great knowledge and experience for all classes and people who wish to understand the way and realm of spirits.
