Stormhaven Capital Library
The best non-magical library in the city, the Capital Library has thousands of books ranging from the entertaining to the scientific. For a fee of 5 gold a week, anyone is granted access provided that they are careful with the books and scrolls. The library also has a comprehensive history of the city in its special collections, which is supposedly so accurate that there are laws prohibiting the rulership from seeing the texts so they are not destroyed.
Purpose / Function
To provide a place of relatively cheap learning for the general public to use. The building was constructed with this in mind and is fire resistant and easy to mop.
Architecture
The building uses standard hazran architecture (brutalist shaped buildings with elements of art deco placed onto them).
History
The library has been around for over four hundred years, though nothing of particular note has happened to it throughout the years besides a small earthquake damaging one of the wings.
