Wavebreak Stronghold
A now unused castle half sunken after the fall of the Palanquin District. The castle is considered an unofficial tourist destination for the more adventurous, as the ruins of the building are sturdy but hard enough to get to to make it exciting. Guard boats are often seen patrolling around it, though people still get through.
Purpose / Function
Originally it was used as a countermeasure to attacks from sea, but when the Palanquin District started to sink the fort was abandoned and the Seashields were constructed to take its place.
Architecture
It uses medieval style architecture thanks to its age. It is one of the oldest structures still standing in the city, even though much of it is inaccessible.
