Spirit elementals exist between raw spiritual essence and the ambient aura that vibrates throughout the world. They are manifestations of living spirit, less tied to physical matter than any other elemental.

Spirit elementals always appear in the same form regardless of size: glowing spheres of energy, often with faint wisps drifting around them. Their color varies, most often shimmering shades of orange, though other hues occasionally appear depending on the layline that birthed them.

Physical Realm Comparable to animals in instinct, spirit elementals tend to be calm and passive. They rarely provoke conflict, but when threatened they unleash overwhelming power.
Divine Realm Larger spirit elementals show true sentience. When they speak, their voices are felt more than heard—resonant vibrations that echo inside one’s chest and mind.
Spirit elementals are among the most serene and patient of their kind. They focus deeply on singular tasks or ideas, often training or refining themselves to perfection. The nature of their obsession is very by individuals.
Growth Rate & Stages
On the physical plane, spirit elementals grow as they absorb mana. A powerful spirit layline, left undisturbed for centuries, can give rise to immense orbs of blazing energy some among the largest elementals known outside divine influence.
In the divine realm, their growth patterns remain a mystery. Despite infinite sustenance, they vary greatly in size and intelligence. Some scholars suggest the gods themselves limit their forms, while others claim the spirit realm shapes them in ways mortals cannot yet perceive.

Spirit elementals are found in only two realms, never in the metaphysical plane:
- Physical Realm Appear near spirit laylines or places rich in magical resonance. They manifest randomly and usually in small numbers.
- Divine Realm Linked to Seishin Goddess of Spirit and Egon God of the Pride, where they shine with divine essence and clarity.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Physical Realm Spirit elementals feed primarily on ambient spirit mana, but they can absorb almost any magical energy. While not as efficient with non spirit energy, they can draw fragments from multiple sources at once, slowly weaving them into their being. Spirit attuned crystals, once drained, lose their essence and revert to ordinary layline stones.
Divine Realm Surrounded by endless resonance, they continuously absorb spirit essence, sustaining themselves effortlessly.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Spirit elementals possess only one sense: magicsight. This ability allows them to perceive the entire world as patterns of energy, vibrations, and spiritual resonance. Through it, they can discern every detail of an object, person, or place not only its current state but hints of its inner essence.
Elder spirit elementals describe this perception as “seeing the world in shining glory, with every truth written plainly in light.” To them, reading a person’s intent or potential is as natural as mortals reading expressions on a face.
