Elementals

Elementals are unique magical beings whose bodies are composed entirely of raw elemental magic. They absorb and thrive within the energies of their respective elements, shaping themselves from that power. Across Elema and the Divine Realms, eight primary types of elementals are recognized: Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Light, Dark, Spirit, and Will.   At their weakest, elementals possess the intelligence of animals instinctive, territorial, and bound to their elemental nature. As they grow in size and power, they develop awareness, language, and eventually true sentience, becoming entities of great wisdom or danger.   Each elemental manifests with its own distinct shape, color, and unique sensory system. Knowing the properties of their element does not guarantee understanding their behavior. A fire elemental may be playful rather than wrathful, a water elemental serene yet unyielding, or a will elemental curious yet overbearing.   Elementals embody the essence of the world itself, and while they can be summoned, bargained with, or fought, they should never be underestimated. To face one is not merely to encounter a creature it is to stand before living magic.
