Dwarves
Dwarves with strength,Dwarves with wisdom,There can be both, but not in Strection's world.
As seen in
Crafters of Astnyr
Strection created the dwarves before building Ironhammer. Even though there were a few crafters such as carpenters, woodsmiths, and weavers, the dwarves started the Crafter's Guild along with adding crafting specialties. These added specialties were blacksmiths and jewelsmiths. Dwarves replaced elves in Justice Paladins, many of the elves retiring from service.First Justice Paladin
There were Justice Paladins before this, but the first dwarven Paladin was a sight to behold. Justlight trained this dwarf to uphold the law and protect Astnyr's people. This paladin's name was Morgin Stormhammer. Morgin became the spark for other dwarves to take up the hammer alongside him. Once the elves retired, the dwarves took over the order. This turned into a curse rather than a blessing as time went on. Strection ruled the Justice Paladins after his tyranny began, leaving Justlight defenseless. Judging became not as productive once this happened.Ethnicities
Mountain Dwarves were the crafters of the Crafter's Guild and Justice Paladins. Most of them lived in the forested mountains southwest of Frosthalla. Some took their trade elsewhere, such as Seaport and Lover's Retreat. Mountain dwarves valued coin and minerals that came from the mountain. Nave was the one who taught the dwarves how to sustain nature while taking from it. Taught how to grow trees they cut, and only dig for valuable resources. Nature was valued in the eyes of the dwarves. Since Strection's tyranny began though, the dwarves took a darker turn. Trees did not grow back, and the mountains suffered landslides more often. No one knew when it would end. Loyal dwarves of Astnyr traversed the snowy mountains to find a solution. Frost dwarves were more of a scholarly interest. They joined the giants in the wintery mountains of Frosthalla after Strection began his tyranny. They were cold and hungry, running out of resources when Winter found them. The angel suggested for them to follow wisdom instead of strength. To follow their guidance and wisdom. These dwarves agreed, being transformed so they could withstand the relentless cold of the snowy mountains. Winter had the dwarves join the giants in Frosthalla, where they guided their people. However, this enraged Strection all the more.Physical Traits
Mountain Dwarves were short, but very muscular from working in the forest mountains. Their bushy eyebrows could take over their eyes, but the iris color is still distinguishable. There were distinctions between the two genders regarding facial hair. Males had bottom beards, while females had mustaches. Mountain Dwarf eyes could be brown, blue, and green. Their hair could be curly and braided with the colors brown, black, and red. The skin color was usually fair, but there was some with tanning in their skin from the outdoor work. Frost Dwarves had the same biology as frost giants. Their skin is winter blue. Variations of hair came in white, blue, and pink, unlike the giants. This might be because they have the biology of past mountain dwarves. Their facial hair stayed the same as they were mountain dwarves as well. Their eyes however, changed from their predecessors. They could be blue, purple, pink, or gray. Frost dwarves were immune of the freezing temperatures of the snowy mountains. They shared their life with the frost giants for many years to come.
