Eldabrand

Eldabrand is a high, dark magical world where the Old Gods used to rule all. That is until the three regions, Celmani, Elsar, and Helvol banded together to seal the four gods in various locations. They could never completely destroy these Old Gods, but they could at least prepare the next generations if they return. However, two Old Gods could not be sealed in the same region without dire consequences. The mages of Celmani cut the south of Celmani apart into two islands that held Cuth'en, the Old God of Madness. Throughout the years, these islands went further south from Celmani.   Astnyr wasn't founded until Knowler touched on the group of islands, not knowing what powers lied there. He made his civilization of Elves, Dwarves, and Giants along with the gods he helped create over the centuries. It was inevitable that there would be a new god of madness. This new god turned to be Knowler's son, Lunarius. Even after being sealed after the Great War, Lunarius threatens the stability of Astnyr and its people.   Celmani has changed since the Demons came to the region. The Humans of Celmani suffered countless losses as the Fae fought back against the Demons. They forced many Humans to become Fae in their futile war as the Demons turned other Humans into eternal Vampires. Some Humans were able to escape Celmani, but not without horrible sacrifices. No turned Fae or Vampire know how the war came to be, but there is hope on the horizon.   Elsar was ruled by the mermaids of the sea. Each island of the region had humans that helped them co-exist with the land. But the Old God of Greed came into being and tried to take over Elsar. With the efforts of both humans and mermaids, they were able to defeat the God of Greed. However, only recently has the Old God re-emerged. Pirates now rule the land and mermaids aren't able to keep contact with the sypathetic humans. However, one pirate may turn the tide in this ocean war, his ship still sailing through frozen waters.   Helvol housed the Warriors of Eternal Light since the Old God of Pride was sealed in a holy chamber. However, there are those that abandoned the path of the light to become better Medicanmen, or Witches, to help those that suffered from the World War against the Old Gods. Witches were honored for their dedication and for finding their life's purpose outside of the Eternal Light. Though recently, there has been a purge order to kill any Witch on sight. The Witches do not know why the Warriors of Eternal Light are eradicating their kind, but they know there are sinister plans behind the scenes.   There will be many novels released throughout the years of Eldabrand's development and it has LGBTQ+ themes within each one. There will be short stories of all major characters backstory as well.
