Migration of the Lizardfolk

Population Migration / Travel

1743AoC

Although not by the use of the land bridge, the lizardfolk got out of the Savage Isles less than 50 years after its creation.

At the time the Holy Order of Druids had already established a post to monitor the Savage Isles, so when some of its denizens suddenly appeared past all its listening posts great care was taken in observing their next steps.   These next steps were mostly without any kind of direction and seemed to go from one wet area to the next as they tracked across E'ath towards the south. Although the route was never very direct, the lizardfolk seemed to dislike sharing their space with anyone else, so they never stayed anywhere for long. Scholars believe this to be because they despised the battles they had seen in the Savage Isles and they wanted somewhere they did not have to fight for.   Eventually, after much consideration, the Holy Order of Druids decided to guide them towards the Li'gnax. A world tree surrounded by swamps that no one had wanted to live in. Although initial attempts ended poorly as they did not share a tongue, eventually the druids managed to get them to travel to Li'gnax where they eventually settled.
