Biography
Katina was born in Antiopa, but her family moved to Kaisa when she was young, settling in Polipotama. Her mother was a textile laborer and her father worked in a steel mill. Her father died in a workplace accident when she was twelve. At the age of thirteen, she began working in the same textile factory as her mother. She began attending union meetings at the age of fifteen, mostly just listening in. Over time, she became an active member of a series of federalist organizations within Kaisa. She was arrested following the Kaisan Revolution of 1333 and sentenced to six years for seditious agitation. Upon her release, she moved to Vrachana and became a pivotal figure in the textile unions forming there. Eventually, she became a figurehead of the Vrachana Textile Strike of '41, giving speeches to crowds of striking workers. The strike was won, but she was warned that a price had been placed on her head by a few local bosses. After a failed assassination attempt, she moved to Kaisadroupolis. In Kaisadroupolis, she was one of the voices pushing the SEK-ESK to organize against the war and has become a powerful leader within the organization. Currently, she is a cautionary voice within the confederation, urging the organization to take care before rushing into an armed conflict with the Kaisan state.Appearance
