Antiopa
The Republic of Antiopa is a small nation in central Jideran, in and south of the Green Sea. Historically, it was at odds with the state of Kaisa, but following the Antiopan Revolution, relations between the two states became closer.
The Red Week hit Antiopa hard, and it did not fully recover by the time the Last War began. They fought on the side of the Humanist League, and the economic reparations that they have been forced to pay have further damaged their weak economy. Political unrest is sweeping the nation, mirroring Kaisa. The general strike being advanced by the SEK-ESK is spreading to Antiopa, bringing the nation into the throes of the Daffodil Revolution.
History
Antiopa was a part of Kaisa until the War of the Lion, when the Karavasilis family that had ruled Kaisa was overthrown by the Tiporéa. Following the war, the branch of the Karavasilis located in Antiopa split off from the rest of Kaisa to form an independent Antiopa. For more than a century, the new state remained under their rule, but in 1243 CE, they were overthrown during the Antiopan Revolution.
