Kaisan Communist Revolutionary Party
The Stasipana Kampa Isostathiko (SKI) is the largest communist political party in Kaisa and one of the significant factions within the Daffodils. It was formed from a split in the Socialist Party during the Kaisan Revolution of 1333, between reformists and revolutionaries. Later, another split would form the Revolutionary Workers Party.
The SKI are republican communists and support the establishment of a democratic and socialist political and economic system in Kaisa. Their support for land reform and agrarian socialism has made them popular with the peasantry in northwest Kaisa. They have also made significant inroads organizing within the Kaisan Army and with army veterans. Their combat organization, the Frora Brotzina, is heavily populated by veterans. The Tehanti Council Republic provides significant support to the SKI through the Ositant Unchonti. Some fear that the SKI will use their support from Tehant as leverage to have greater control over the revolutionary coalition.
Organization
The SKI is structured by the principles of socialist republicanism. The general decision-making body of the party is the Synedas Kampa, whose delegates are elected from each of the party's regional branches. Decisions are made by two-thirds vote. This body convenes irregularly, called only when important questions of party direction and strategy are raised. Between congresses, the Entraki Kepitromi is responsible for enacting the decisions of the Synedas Kampa and generally serves as the executive body of the party. The members of the Entraki Kepitromi are appointed by the Synedas Kampa. Within the Entraki Kepitromi, a Committee Secretary is elected who facilitates meetings and handles administrative functions but has no greater authority than any other member, otherwise. The current Committee Secretary is Stamatia Nevrakis. This structure is replicated in miniature for each regional branch of the party, with each branch being subordinate to the higher organs of the party.
Party Institutions
Frora Brotzina
The Frora Brotzina, led by Erdem Bulut, is the paramilitary wing of the SKI. Before the Daffodil Revolution, the Frora Brotzina defended party meetings and rallies and engaged in fights with echelarist thugs. Now, they are being reformed into a true military organization, with an influx of veterans of the Last War flooding the ranks.
Pakoia Exadatosi
The Pakoia Exadatosi is the official newspaper of the SKI. Stamatia Nevrakis, in addition to serving as the Committee Secretary for the party, is the chief editor of the newspaper.
Internal Divisions
Internally, there are ideological and strategic divisions within the SKI, represented by the formation of two factions, the Gradualists and the Ultras. These factions began to form in 1338, when the party decided to abandon their boycott of the Synekio Laida and participate in future elections. The question of electoral vs revolutionary activity has been at the heart of this division ever since.
The Gradualists, led by Stamatia Nevrakis, advocated for participation in Synekio elections. Most do not reject underground activities entirely, but they believe that the party must garner popular, democratic support before engaging in underground revolutionary activity. With the outbreak of the Daffodil Revolution, the Gradualists wish to empower the Synekio Laida to form a socialist republic, which well then take on the responsibilities of the social revolution. They also call for closer coordination with the rest of the radical factions of the Daffodils.
The Ultras are represented mainly by Erdem Bulut within the Synedas Kampa. They advocated for a focus on underground revolutionary activity and believed that engaging in the bourgeouis democracy of the Synekio Laida was a distraction from real revolutionary action. Now, they call for the immediate seizure and nationalization of land and major industries of Kaisa, and they wish to immediately engage in revolutionary warfare to entirely destroy the institutions of the Kaisan state, prior to the formation of a new republic. They believe the SKI must take the role of a revolutionary vanguard within the Daffodils.
For now, these divisions are mainly carried out through shouted arguments within the Synedas Kampa and in polemical articles in the Pakoia Exadatosi, but some in the party worry that these disagreements may escalate quickly, especially as the questions of strategy become less and less theoretical.
