Valen Woods

The Valen woods are a region of dense forestry of many different species which creates a patchwork of dense canopies and fields. The Western side of the Valen Woods has consistent rainstorms and can often be engulfed in a thick fog which dissipates after a few days. This is excepted in one region where the fog is nearly constant and can reduce visibility to under a few inches. The Valenwood makes itself a home to all manner of beasts and monstrosities and is thus better traversed in groups or with a guide.
