Trollgre
The Abominable marriage of a Troll and an Ogre, the thought of which makes the eyes water with horrid ideation of its procreation. Having both the qualities of Ogre and Troll, these nasty creatures are difficult to deal with and even moreso to dispatch.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Trollgre's stand at 8-10 feet tall, and often have strange proportions. Their skin is often hairy and rough with unsightly bumps and wrinkles. They have large sharp noses that seem to connect directly to their large mouths filled with two rows of teeth for gnashing and crushing. While gangly in appearance, Trollgre's are extremly muscular and have large tusks that jut crookedly from their lips. Trollgres share with trolls their surprising regenerative ability and can heal from most any wound that does not corrode or ignite their flesh.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Trollgre's are voracious and require a constant supply of meat in order to maintain their bodies. It is said that a Trollgre cannot go more than two days without a substantial meal least they wither and die. While they mostly subsist on meat alone, Trollgre's are known to eat near anything but are especially fond of their troll and ogre kin as well as humans.
Behaviour
While Trollgre's have comperable intellect to humans, they are constantly overcome with their own ravenous nature, consumed at all times by their insatiable apetite. These creatures can be communicated with and often vocalize threats and even have been known to sing. Their hunger is only trumped by their capacity for cruelty. Any creature they view as a potential meal is thought as less than an object to them and they have been known to eat prey alive and in pieces without so much as batting an eye.
Conservation Status
Trollgre Tusks are considered redeemable as bounties in Lakeview and Port Fairway municipalities.
