Anatomy
Chicken Lizards refer to small bipedal reptiles found in nearly all wooded areas surrounding Cinder's Hope. Growing no more than 2 feet tall and displaying a green or brown coloration Chicken Lizards are so numerous that they are considered vermin to most farmers and homesteaders. While sometimes displaying horns and sharp teeth, one of the most striking characteristics of a chicken lizard is a mane of feathers at the base of its head, which it can unfurl as a response to threats in its environment. Some accounts testify to their ability to spit venom, however this has not been ofically confirmed.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Being Carnivors, they mostly subsist on insects or small rodents and are known to be the occassional scavenger. Chicken Lizards are extremely opportunistic when it comes to food and this makes them quite easy to trap and hunt.
