Museum of Science & Fabrication

Archivist's Excerpt from: Orphan Heights: An Official History, CVI 42.4

Situated in the lowest level of the suspended Heuridium Tower, and the only floor open to the public (the others being sealed off for storage of defunct equipment), the Museum of Science & Fabrication pays homage to the industrial wonders of both Cornelius Hickter and the rest of Orphan's brilliant minds in general, up to and including Hiram Lorecroft.

Here one will find displays on everything from fabulous Lectral Incandescents to the wonders of the Phonometric Orchestra, and many more. It is not for the feint of heart, lest the patron be overcome with awe, and pass out, damaging one of the displays.

Holding something of an ongoing and consistent rivalry with the Museum of All Antiquity, given that the two establishments are both governed by opposing methodologies, and both establishments tend to train their gaze in opposite temporal directions. It should be noted, however, that the rivalry is one-sided, when one asks the staff of the Museum of Science & Fabrication, firmly holding themselves as the vastly superior entity of the two.
