Prelude

In the year 1438 Kingdom of Nordland launched an invasion into the southern part of Nordland occupied by the Holy Empire of Middland.   Holy Emperor Heinrich III. "Der Gute" tried to negotiate peace with the north men, but the King of Nordland was determined to not only take back, what Holy Emperor Gustav I. "Der Erboberer" once took from the north men, but also occupy the north of Middland.   Holy Emperor Karl Folly proclaimed the 3rd Northern Crusade after successfully mediating peace between the belligerents of the Schwabhausen Rebellion in 1467.
