1st Battle at Gron Skov

While Morgana die Rote placed her mercenaries atop a hill east of the footpath, the leshy warriors of Flora psydosapiens Natura stood motionless amongst a group of trees so they won't noticed until the enemies are to near to react. Uzhul Huffresser hid his P'echtra Great Axes in the underbrush, which worked despite their enormous size.   The patrol of north men marched on the footpath at the edge of the forest like they always do. In a formation of conscripts at their right flank and regiment of line infantry to the left of the conscripts followed by a regiment of the renowned viking guard.

When the patrol spotted the mercenaries on the hill they ordered the conscripts to charge them who where stopped in their attack by the shield wall of the leshy warriors. When Morgana die Rote saw the enemies engaged by the walking trees, she ordered her men to fire into the flank of the conscripts at the foot of the hill the mercenaries were positioned on. This caused massive casualties to the band of conscripts who turned to flee the field of battle after the second salvo rained down on them.   While the line infantry fired on the shield wall of the leshy warriors lead by Flora psydosapiens Natura the viking guard marched in tandem with the infantrymen.   As soon as the north men saw that the beastmen of Uzhul Huffresser are to their right, they swerved around and attacked the horned berserkers to prevent encirclement. Despite their hardiness uncommon for a mere patrol, they were not able to withstand the pure rage of the P'echtra Great Axes, especially under constant barrages of the mercenaries that had climbed down their hill and started to march towards them. So did the Leshy Warriors of Flora psydosapiens Natura who moved to provide the anvil for the beastmens hammer to crush the north men between.   In an attempt to prevent this, the line infantry charged the walking trees and protect the vikings rear. But in their state they couldn't withstand for long and started to rapidly die as soon as Morgana die Rote's mercenaries flanked them from the south. After seeing their whole patrol wiped out, the remaining 44 north men capitulated and were put in chains and transported off to the P'echtra Broot Pit in the south of the forest.
