The vast Greenwood Forest is the desmesne of the Greenwood elves, but also holds other mysteries within its depths. Hundreds of miles long, It is the largest swathe of untouched wilderness in all of Anoria.
Fauna & Flora
Lisianthis - a rare and endangered flower with purple petals. It is said the Lisianthis originated in the Hedge, and may carry magical properties.
Natural Resources
The elven kingdom of Greenwood has maintained trade agreements with Strafferg and Amarath. The elves are known for their long lifespans, and they put that time to good use, making cultivated strains of plants that take a longer to grow than most human farmers would have the patience for, such as trees for wood, charcoal, resin, sap, and fruit. A tree on an orchard may take over a decade to bear fruit from being planted, but this allows for guiding that slow process and picking the most-prized fruits. The elves also have keen eyes and nimble fingers, perfect for textiles and rope making. Their bowstrings and stringed instruments are unparalleled.
