Akama
330 Years ago, in the midst of Veluna's bloody civil war, a faction loyal to Wesley Akama, the dead king's son in exile, ventured into the Grey Mountains to form an independent city. Initially built as a military outpost, Fort Akama eventually became the fortified city of Akama as the original cause of building an army to take back Veluna gave way to building a life in the Grey Mountains. As many of the local villagers moved to the city of Akama for protection, the population swelled, and the town expanded to become a massive walled city, built with the help of trade agreements with the Greysmere Covenant. Eventually the heirs of Wesley Akama died out, and today the city is ruled by a Lord Mayor assisted by a high council.
