Reginspace
Alanspace, often shortened to Alan, or simply Space, is the official term used by the Jenuwan Order for the solar system of those dwelling on the planet Aldern. It is known as Reginspace to the elf, and Hisherat on the major continent of Dergonhad. To the people of Ethae it is often referred to as ‘the Dark Awful,’ or in more ancient times ‘the Heavens Above.’ Alanspace is a binary star system within a Crystal Sphere. These stars are Uatu and Juva, which orbit one another in what is known as the Celestial Cycle. This cycle is a twelve-hundred-year orbit, with the two stars being nearest to each other at the end of each cycle, and farther away in the middle.
Aldern is the only habitable planet within Alanspace. It orbits Uatu, and has two moons, Ahrima and Ahura. Juva has several thick asteroid belts, known to astronomers as Juva's Belt.
A nebula of blue gases, known as the Sea of Creation gathers at what could be considered the southern pole of the crystal sphere. Throughout the space, long the stars orbital disk, and outside their orbit circle great dust rings. These rings are largely harmless, unless flying through them, as they have settled into a slow orbit around the stars center of gravity. There is also a phenomenon known as the Cloud that rest in the path of the orbit of the two stars in their journey on their orbits.
Beyond Uatu and Juva, the other 'stars' of Alanspace are gargantuan Nura orbs of light, the size of planet that rest on the crystal sphere. They vary in color, though new orbs are usually white or light blue, though yellow and orange stars appears sometimes. These orbs follow the Celestial Cycle appearing and blinking out of existence every twelve-hundred-years. This event seems to coincide with Juva passing through the Cloud. The exception of this is the three constellations. These are the Draco Constellation, the King's Cup Constellation, and the Orion Constellation. The three constellations sit along 'equator' of the crystal sphere of Alanspace. Each equidistant from each other, these clusters of stars help track the passing of the Cycle for those on Aldern.
